This week, I’ve explored Hungary’s trails, camera in hand, capturing spring wildflowers. Each location revealed unique blooms, making for a whirlwind photography quest.
At Wild Garlic Educational Trail in Tatabánya, wild garlic covered the forest floor. I framed their white, star-shaped flowers amidst lush greenery, with sunlight filtering through the trees, creating a magical glow.
On the Sóstó Educational Trail, the military orchid stood out with vibrant pink-purple spikes. I captured their bold structure against a soft, blurred background, highlighting their regal presence in the evening light.
In Pentele Forest Park, ground ivy’s tiny purple flowers dotted the woodland edge. I shot them from a low angle, using a shallow depth of field to emphasize their delicate charm against the green backdrop.
I also photographed Oriental arum’s elegant, hooded spathes, framing them to showcase their unique shape amidst surrounding foliage, and lily of the valley’s dainty white bells, capturing their soft glow against broad leaves.
