Introduction

My name is Tibor FenyÅ‘si, a photographer living in Székesfehérvár. I work as an IT specialist, but photography has become my passion, in which I have continuously developed over the past few years. I started pursuing it in 2020, and since then, I have explored various fields, from landscape photography to wildlife photography and macro. My goal is to convey unique perspectives and moods through my images while discovering new locations and techniques.

Photography Experience

I got into photography in December 2020, when I began taking landscape photos with a Canon M50 camera. The bare walls of my new apartment inspired me to liven up the space with my own pictures, but this initial idea quickly turned into a hobby. In 2021, I completed an online basic photography course to gain deeper knowledge, and by spring, I shifted toward animal and bird photography. At that point, I switched to a Sony A7RIII, which I supplemented with an A7RV in 2024. In the early days, I explored the beauty of my surroundings, going out to shoot 3-5 times a week. Photography has taken me to places like Ireland, Malta, Denmark, Madeira, and Albania, and for 2025, I have plans to visit Transylvania and Bulgaria.
I regularly photograph bull rodeos as well, one of my images was featured in the Magyarország 365 book in 2021, and another piece was exhibited in 2024. This year, I might even participate as an official photographer at the MonorierdÅ‘ event, which I consider an exciting opportunity. During a workshop, I also tried boudoir photography, where I learned a lot about lighting, composition, and retouching. Lately, macro photography—especially the world of insects—has captivated me, as highlighting details presents new challenges. In post-processing, I strive for quality, using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Topaz software, and occasionally Helicon Focus. Techniques like exposure blending and focus stacking are not unfamiliar to me, and I’m constantly seeking opportunities to improve.

Inspiration

The support and advice of my friend Zsolt Varanka have played, and continue to play, a significant role in my journey. Alongside Zsolt, my work is inspired by photographers like Mads Peter Iversen, Michael Shainblum, Adam Gibbs, Thomas Heaton, Nigel Danson, and Morten Hilmer, whose images always spark new ideas.
